Client Challenge
EduVerse had great content and weak retention. Students dropped off in the second week, and instructors had no signal to act on.
Discovery Process
We mapped the learner journey, ran A/B research on 500 students, and identified three retention triggers: streaks, peer signal and personalization.
Product Strategy
Designed a system of small wins: every session ends in visible progress, peer activity is always one tap away, and recommendations adapt nightly.
UI/UX Process
A dashboard that feels more like a game than a school portal — without ever being childish. Calm typography, energetic motion.
Development Process
React frontend, Node API, Postgres for structured data, WebRTC for live classes, and an event pipeline feeding the recommender.
AI Integration
A two-tower recommender plus an LLM that explains recommendations in plain language, so students trust why a course shows up next.
